Dragon Walking Swordsmanship: The Living Dragon

Part I established the structural foundation.

Now, we build on it.

During our first weekend, we focused on the mechanics of the Walking Dragon Sword—moving past choreography to look closely at structure, timing, and intent.

In Part II, the focus shifts entirely to refinement and application.

What We Will Cover:

  • Footwork mechanics and precise stance transitions.
  • Body connection and structural alignment through every movement.
  • Sword intent, ensuring the weapon moves with purpose and control, not just momentum.
  • Direct adjustments to break down the subtle principles that make the form functional.

This workshop isn't about collecting a new sequence of movements.

It is about sharpening your mechanics and becoming a more precise, capable swordsman.

Whether you attended Part I and want to progress, or you are stepping in now to build your foundation, this is an opportunity to train the material deeply, with direct feedback and individual corrections.

As the old saying goes: "You don't practice until you get it right… you practice until you cannot get it wrong."

Thank you to everyone who brought their focus and hard work to Part I.

I look forward to getting back on the floor with you for Part II.

Train hard. Stay grounded.
